Mulm is a seldom used Norwegian word that describes a state of darkness, gloom, and dusk. It is also the name for a local (Trondheim) dark ambient project that conveys a similar atmosphere.

Taken in the end of October this scene describes a Norwegian darkness that comes in the late months before snow lightens it all up again. It is an obscure and murky time that is fascinating to get lost in nature in. Just remember to bring a flashlight for the way back home.
